Saima Mohammad started off as a volunteer at the Firm in 2006. She has served in multiple roles, including: Legal assistant, Law clerk, Head of Real Estate, and HR manager. Despite her young age, she brings over a decade of experience in management and leadership, and was promoted to the role of a Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Saima’s appointment as CEO in September 2020, she had trained several lawyers, interns and clerks at the Firm. She is a strategically-minded executive, diligently focused on deepening client relationships and an unwavering commitment to bringing the firm’s core values to life.

Saima’s educational background includes a double major in Psychology and Nutrition from the University of Toronto, and a post-graduate diploma in Nutritional Therapy. She is also a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). Saima has a deep passion for justice and equality, and has campaigned alongside several different Muslim Students Associations, Student Unions, as well as other organizations including the Ontario Federation of Labour. She currently serves as the Director of Communications for the Access 2 Clean Water campaign which advocates for the right to Clean Water amongst First Nations Communities in Canada. She is particularly passionate about removing barriers and obstacles faced by women who wish to advance in the leadership and legal industry. In her spare time, she’s a yogi and uses her instagram (@_saimahasan_) as a platform to empower women to develop leadership skills for building a career and life that is fulfilling.
